"Amy['s character], in this movie, she has it very together," Lawrence revealed. "It's her [character's] lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport."
As for where Lawrence's character falls on the personality spectrum, the Oscar-winning actress teased, "I'm a mess."
It was Lawrence's idea to collaborate with the Emmy award winning actress, as she was delighted to see Schumer's summer movie, Trainwreck.
"I reached out and everything just happened so quickly," Lawrence told Entertainment Tonight. "We both have very similar senses of humor, obviously and aren't afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don't know what our movie will be rated. And we're both very blunt. So we've gotten through a really strenuous process without ever fighting, because we're both very straightforward."
She also revealed that their role will be sisters and there will be no stereotyped romantic sub-plots along the way. Not even cameos of her Hunger Games co-star hotties Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
"No, no, no, no, no. There's not really boys in it, there's not really a lot of [male characters] in the story. It's mostly just me and Amy."" Lawrence said.
Earlier this week, Schumer told press that she and Lawrence had just finished a new draft of the script. "We're excited about it," she said. "It's funny, it's dirty, it's real . . . it's like us."
Passengers is set for a December 2016 release. But there has been no word yet on the much-anticipated Lawrence-Schumer film will reach theaters.
