Billy Ray Cyrus Offers His Tennessee Farm to Justin Bieber: Effort to 'Refocus' His Intentions

Billy Ray Cyrus is offering troubled singer, Justin Bieber, a safe haven.

According to Us Weekly, during an interview with "Access Hollywood," the Achy Breaky Heart" singer offered up a few suggestions to the teen pop star, who was arrested last week for driving under the influence and drag racing through the streets of south Miami.

"I would say, first of all, hey, I'm sure he's got lots of people talking to him right now. I would just invite him to come down and chill out with me, maybe in Tennessee," Cyrus said. "Let's go up to the teepee, build a fire, step away and just, you know, maybe take a break for a little bit, just think about what's important. Get back to life. ... Build a fire, count the deer and the hawks and relax a little bit."

The country singer said he was concerned about Bieber's recent troubles with the law, which included charges for "resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired Georgia driver's license." Us Weekly reported that the "Boyfriend" singer was also recently charged with assault in Toronto.

The country star is hoping that Bieber has a "long life ahead of him" and would like to see the singer enjoy life more, but also force on his music. In an interview with Radio.com Cyrus said he did not want to see another young star's life be taken away.

"When Kurt Cobain died, I think we could all see that train coming off the track," he said. "There's been several that's happened to. I look back and [think of] Michael Jackson. I wanted so bad to reach out to Michael Jackson, and I knew his kids watched Hannah Montana. I wanted to invite them to the set, become his friend and maybe be something in his life. But sometimes you just stand back and you just watch these things happen."

In October, Miley Cyrus also expressed her concerns about the young star's lifestyle to Rolling Stone magazine.

"He's trying really hard," she said. "People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don't want to see him f**k that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke. When you go out, don't start shit. Don't come in shirtless.' But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he's really, like, 12."
