#EarthToParis: The World's Way To Tell The World Leaders How They Feel About Climate Change [Video]

#EarthToParis as well as the #COP21 will soon be viral as the United Nations' Annual Conference of Parties (COP) is about to happen in Paris, France. Set from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11, this supreme convention anticipates thousands of delegates from over 190 participating countries. These are world leaders who would discuss, identify and outline the steps each nation has to undertake to save the planet.

Having that said, everyone from different walks of life is highly encouraged to participate in the discussions by sharing his or her thoughts on climate change in social media, using '#EarthToParis'. Anyone from around the globe can share a photo or a video that focuses on how one may feel about this threat.

With COP21's current commitments on greenhouse gas emissions running out by 2020, many scientists and human rights advocates consider this as the "most important UN climate conference ever". Highlighting the importance of preserving the earth's biodiversity, it also aims to recognize the harmful effects of climate change and to stabilize greenhouse-gas emissions.

Going back, environmental protection took its first steps toward becoming a global movement in 1992. The UN conference in Rio de Janeiro that year was the first true "Earth Summit". It also enabled not only the adoption of the renowned Declaration of Principles but also the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

According to the EarthToParis.org, awareness, will and technology are the turning points and could help combat climate change. It's high time you make a stand as climate change can greatly affect you and is now considered to be a major threat in international food security.

This video has nothing to do with Jack Black or any celebrity icon. It's all about you and me. Let's take the challenge and spread the good news to let our world leaders know our opinions on climate change.

Take the challenge, join the bandwagon and use #EarthToParis to voice out your thoughts.
