The Flash season 2 is alive again now that Dr. Harrison Wells (played by Tom Cavanaugh) is back making magic in STAR Labs. IB Times shared that Earth 2 is now open on this new season and it is opening with some weird events. The alternate universe persona of Dr. Wells is also something that Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) cannot expect to save him for King Shark.
Episode 5 is all about trust issues between Barry (aka The Flash) and Dr. Wells, but it is going to be hard since he became a clone of the murdered on episode 5 called The Darkness and the Light. Viewers will see a kind of a flashback scene featuring Earth 2 and Dr. Wells was in a press conference making a statement about some smart watch that could detect an amount of speed. He will then be stopped from speaking from an alternate universe persona of The Flash who is Jay Garrick.
He will then expose Wells saying he is the man behind creating meta-humans, who also was responsible for freeing the Zoom (played by Tony Todd). The genius doctor refused to agree with that accusation and just told Garrick to go work on what he does best and that is stopping Zoom from his probable evil plan.
Fair warning, one must have really watched the first season to get a grasp of this new one, otherwise it would be so hard for them to follow with all the alternate universe and sort-of-flashback/fast-forward going on.
On this episode, viewers would also see Wells admitting he created Zoom. After that confession, Joe (played by Jesse Martin) would crash into the scene and he would appear not excited to see Wells. Metahumans will be discovered through the smartwatch and one of them was Cisco.
