Khloe Kardashian made sure to immediately check in with her BFF Malika Haqq after learning that her ex has been killed.
HollywoodLife reported that cameras for "Dash Dolls" have captured their emotional conversation. To recall, Malika learned the heartbreaking news while filming her show.
Khloe's best friend is seen bundled under the covers of her hotel room bed in New York City after hearing the tragic news that Chinx had been killed during a shooting in Queens, N.Y. Malika was devastated despite the fact that they were not dating at the time of his death.
"It's hurtful and sad and sometimes you'll cry," Khloe said on the phone, to which Malika's sister Khadijah added, "But you gotta keep going. And I think he would want that, too."
Chinx, 31-years old at the time of his death, was a longtime pal and collaborator with French Montana who dated Khloe in 2014. His affair with Malika was a bit provocative since it was reported that he was still married while they dated.
"My ex wants to sit down and have a conversation," Malika divulged earlier in the episode. "I really still feel like I'm just not ready for this. Since we've broken up, I really haven't spoken to him much. I have kind of ignored a lot of his attempts to talk."
Malika was so fortunate to have Khloe there for her during that tough time. As of the moment, she's definitely returned the favor now that the 31-year-old sister of Kourtney and Kim Kardashian is dealing with everything that's gone down with her ex-partner Lamar Odom.
Meanwhile, International Design Times reported that Khloe revealed that something about her relationship with the former NBA star. She called it "best time" of her life.
The daughter of momager Kris Jenner has also shared about her relationship and her estranged husband's petrifying health scare. "I've learned from experience you just never know what happens in life," Khloe divulged to Yahoo! Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee. "I've chosen to keep things closer to my heart until I figure it out. I love hard, I love who I love, and I don't make any qualms about it. And I can't wait for that to happen."
