Lego Batman has Lego Alfred, Ralph Fiennes Joins Cast

Anybody who is an avid fan of Batman (modern, comics, the 90's or 1943 origin) would also be familiar of the ever-lovable Alfred, the butler. The Lego Movie's next Lego adventure spin-off, The Lego Batman Movie, will star Lego Alfred to be played by Ralph Fiennes.

In real life, he does look good in a suit and black tie. In the Lego world, he does have the voice and finesse for the role. The Oscar Nominated Actor, who is known for his work in Schindler's List, has signed on as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's long-time ever loyal butler. Fiennes will be joining the cast of The Lego Movie's spin off, The Lego Batman Movie by Warner Bros. He will be the voice behind the keeper of Bruce Wayne's secret and coffee preferences.

Will Arnett will play Batman in The Lego Batman Movie as he originally did in the first Lego movie as the pompous cape crusader. Will Arnett is famously known for his parody on Christian Bale's voice.

Michael Cera will also join the cast and will be voicing as Robin, Batman's boy sidekick. And lastly, with the addition of a female role, Rosario Dawson will be voicing Batgirl - who is also known in the comics as Barbara Gordon, Comissioner Gordon's daughter. There's no final word on who the Joker will be but there are current talks that could involve Zach Galifianakis' name in the negotations. He might be taking the villain's role and will be putting a comedic twist - much different than Jared Leto's Joker representation in The Suicide Squad.

Chris McKay, who was originally the animation supervisor from The Lego Movie, will be directing the spin-off. Seth Grahame-Smith, the famous Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter writer, will be producing the script/screenwrite as originally reported by Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is said to be released in cinemas on May 26, 2017 in USA.

As Alfred used to say, "Very Good, Sir!"
