There is no shortage on fan theories about 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' The release of the final trailer had resulted in more speculations about the identity of Kylo Ren and Rey, as well as the whereabouts of the absent Luke Skywalker.
A new theory has just been causing quite a stir among 'Star Wars' fans since it seems ridiculous yet absolutely plausible, and it involves the most mysterious character in 'The Force Awakens': Supreme Leader Snoke, who will be played by Andy Serkis.
According to Redditor Lumpawaroo, there is a good reason why Supreme Leader Snoke has not made an appearance in any 'Star Wars' promotional merchandise: He is actually Jar Jar Binks, who has fooled everyone right from the start about his true identity.
The Reddit post points out that Jar Jar's clumsy movements and questionable fighting skills were actually a form of martial arts similar to Drunken Fist wushu. The Gungan had repeatedly shown off his moves in the prequels, where he is seen kipping up, sloshing and sweeping the leg.
In addition to that, Jar Jar Binks had deliberately manipulated everyone in the prequels by using the Force. Lumpawaroo points out that the Gungan gestured with his hand when he was promoted to be Bombad General, then later a Senator before finally getting Palpatine elected as Chancellor. It looks like Jar Jar Binks has been using the Mind Trick all along.
And speaking of Palpatine, the theory suggests that although he and Jar Jar Binks were co-conspirators in the plans to take over the Empire, the bumbling Gungan may have been the true mastermind. Ultimately, Jar Jar Binks will be revealed to be Supreme Leader Snoke, a true master of the dark side of the Force who is now manipulating Kylo Ren.
This would be a jaw-dropping twist in the story, even more shocking that Darth Vader admitting to Luke Skywalker that the Sith Lord is his father.
Find out if Supreme Leader Snoke is indeed Jar Jar Binks when 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' premieres on December 18.
