Nathan For You Jacket Generated $45,000 For Holocaust Education Center

If you're trying to spruce up your winter wardrobe then you might be seeing the trending Nathan For You Jacket online. The jacket was motivated by Nathan Fielder, a stand up comic who wanted to start a tribute to a writer who was a Holocaust denier. In an episode in Comedy Central, Fielder devoted to the cause, promoted on air "The First Outdoor Apparel Company to Openly Promote the True Story of Holocaust." No matter how controversial the goal and initial stages may have been, the jacket has already gained sales.

Fielder who started Summit Ice Apparel after his favorite jacket company - Taiga - announced that all sales will go to the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre. The centre is dedicated to promoting human rights, social justice and genocide awareness.

When word first got out that a jacket was to be made by Taiga, there were controversial debates regarding the writer's inflammatory writings and mixed beliefs. Be that as it may, many admired him because of his defense for human rights during politically incorrect times.

Nathan Fielder, who guested on Conan on TBS, wore the windbreaker and shared his reason for wearing the outdoor apparel. He apparently was the first guest on Conan to wear a windbreaker and Fielder wears it on his shows, too. He goes on to say in this Youtube clip that he wants to promote awareness on how 6 million Jews died.

The jacket is already gaining momentum in user-wear and celebrities supporting the campaign include Jimmy Kimmel, Alexandria Daddario, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rob Lowe, John Mayer and Ellie Kemper. The public eye has also caught the jacket's attention and has rung up sales amounting to $45,000.

The jacket is also available on their website. The jacket will cost you $109.99 and it looks like its great for the outdoors, EW reports.
