Free Pizza on Arizona Highway! Truck Spilled 44,500 Pounds of Pizza Dough

On Thursday in Northern Arizona, a semi-truck hauling 22 tons of pizza dough and flour crashed. Contents spilled onto U.S. 89.

All that's left missing would be about 25 tons of tomato sauce and cheese and you're ready for an Arizona Pizza Party. Pull out the portable brick oven out of the garage!

The semi apparently bounced off a guardrail and ended up rolling on its side around 4:00 in the morning, said The Arizona Department of Public Safety. The truck was found on Jack's Peak, a stretch of road outside Page, Arizona.

The delivery truck was delivering a load of 44,500 pounds of pizza dough and flour. Authorities said that fatigue and speed may have been the main contributors to the crash. It was also reported that no one was injured in the accident site. The driver was cited with failure to control the vehicle by the Department of Public Safety.

The driver, unnamed, was described to be between 5'7" and 5'10", and between 20 and 30 years old.

Speed & fatigue may be involved." Warning motorists to avoid the route.
