The Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley Will Direct On Season 7 [Spoilers]

CW's The Vampire Diaries is about to have their own actor Paul Wesley direct one of the episodes of the show. He confirmed it by posting a teaser of what he is about to direct on the series through his Instagram account. The name of the episode was covered by a pencil on the picture that he posted, as Wesley sure knows how to keep it a secret for now.

In an article published by The Inquisitr, they said that this is not the first time that Wesley was assigned to direct an episode of The Vampire Diaries. The new season would also put more depth and story on Wesley's character as Stefan Salvatore. He will try to be a savior to Mystic Falls against his own mother, Lily.

Fans would also see a lot of murder occurring in the town of Mystic Falls and it's all because of Paul and his family of Heretics. Some of the killings were done to innocent lives in that area, which makes them eventually think of a plan to win against the hybrids.

Entertainment Weekly also announced that this new episode would have to do with Stefan and Caroline's (Candice Accola-King) love affair. Caroline will finally give in to their feelings towards each other and this time, she'll choose to be with him. Viewers will see the romantic angle of their characters this time.

Candice explained to the publication, why it has been so long before her character decided to risk it this time and just be with Stefan. She explained, "There's a reason why it took them seven seasons to become a relationship. All those things still exist in [their] world and they're realizing that just because they say out loud that they have feelings for each other, it doesn't mean that... the universe is allowing them to be with one another."
