'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' News: JJ Abrams Talks New Trailer, Luke Skywalker in Revealing Interview

Last week, the second "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer was released, having fans amped up all over the world. Now with the JJ Abrams film only a month away from showing in theaters, fans are wondering whether there will be a new "Star Wars" trailer to be released.

Unfortunately, there will be none.

In a recent interview with Extra TV, the movie's co-writer and director J.J. Abrams has admitted that while there will be no more trailers, there are going to be numerous TV spots for the film, according to The Inquisitr.

The next thing is really gonna be the movie. There will be more commercials, but no more trailers," Abrams said.

With the case of the lack of Luke Skywalker in the recent "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" traielrs, Abrams has revealed that it is "no accident."

In an interview with the Associated Press at the GLSEN Respect Awards, via the Guardian, Abrams explained, "It's no accident. These are good questions to be asking. I can't wait for you to find out the answers."

In any case, it may be better than no new trailers will be released anymore as trailers tend to reveal too much of a movie's plot.

According to Lucasfilm figures, the second "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer saw 112 million views during the first 24 hours after its online release. Because of the figures, people at Disney and Lucasfilm are reportedly hoping that the film might be able to beat "Avatar's" box office rates.
