Stephen Colbert Has Just Guessed The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Plot, And It Is The Best Theory Just Yet! [VIDEO]

Forget everything you've heard or speculated about 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens!' Stephen Colbert has finally offered his guess on what the film will be about based on the action-packed final trailer, and the 'Late Show' host's theory is the best so far.

During his opening spiel for the recent 'Late Show with Stephen Colbert,' the self-described 'original Star Wars fan' spoke about the trailer, which he claimed was filled with "actual chunks of movie flavor crystals in it." The host also admitted that he was "deeply moved" when he saw the Millennium Falcon as well as Chewbacca being reunited with "Han Solo's grandfather."

Stephen Colbert also shared that although he is good friends with J.J. Abrams, the 'Star Wars' director has never told him about the plot. However, he claimed he already knows the entire plot just from watching the final trailer.

"It has been three decades since the events of the original trilogy," Colbert said. "The dark and mysterious First Order has stepped into the power vacuum once held by the Empire, and the newly named Resistance fights in place of the Rebel Alliance, which has begun a tragic shift towards the Dark Side. But John Boyega's character is in a Stormtrooper suit, so it follows that now a new 'New Hope' comes from the very enemy we were trained to hate.

"Remember, the Dark Side was never explicitly tied to the Empire," he continued. "The Force itself exists outside mere temporal authority structures so I predict, dark becomes light, light becomes dark, and the very fabric of the Force is stretched to its limit, as a new generation emerges to tear down the false distinctions of the past and unite all of us, old and new, moisture farmers and nerf herders, Star and Wars, once and for all, bringing peace to the galaxy."

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' will premiere on December 18.
