Chuck Norris is getting in on the epic splits trend.
In a hilarious new parody video, Norris tries to outshine Jean-Claude Van Damme by showing him who the real epic split master is in a video titled, "Greetings From Chuck (the epic Christmas split)."
In the video, the 73-year-old action star goes above and beyond by performing the same stunt but with his legs balancing between two jumbo jets.
Created by Hungarian animation firm Delov Digital begins with a close up shot of Norris face. The camera then pans backwards to show the "Texas Ranger" star standing between two planes, with one foot on each wing.
As the actor goes into his "epic split," the camera reveals 11 servicemen standing on of the actor's head standing in the shape of a Christmas tree; help from some special effects. The video ends with the holiday message "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" flashing above the special effects stunt.
Norris is the second celebrity to parody Van Damme's viral Volvo commercial
Last month, "22 Jump Street" actor, Channing Tatum mocked the video by standing on two food carts that were being pushed by movie production assistants. The video ends with Tatum crouched on the floor in pain, clutching his crotch.
"It was carried out by unprofessional in an open, unsupervised area," the video finishes.
The original clip shows Jean-Claude folding his arms, as the star balances between two trucks, which a driving along a runway.
"I've had my ups and downs," Jean-Claude said in a voice over. "My fair share of bumpy roads and heavy winds. That's what made me what I am today."
"It's going to be quite unusual, and the first time we'll ever see anything like it in a movie or a commercial," Van Damme promised in a statement released by Volvo. "Before doing the split between the trucks, I saw the storyboard and thought it looked amazing. It's very majestic and very powerful."
