It is that time of the year when one of the most influential magazines in the world releases its annual list of Most Influential Teens of the yYear. TIME has looked through various fields and professions, rampant social media and overall ability to inspire and call the attention of today's generation. Here are the teens who made it (from youngest to oldest):
Moziah Bridges, 13
The 13-year old boy from Memphis is now running his $200,000-a-year bow tie business called Mo's Bows. He started his apparel company at age 9 and now touting licensing deals with famous brands such as Cole Haan and Neiman Marcus. Mo's Bow's recently supplied bow ties to basketball players for the 2015 NBA Draft.
Maddie Ziegler, 13
This talented girl from Pittsburgh caught the media's attention as she danced for Sia's music videos for "Chandelier", "Elastic Heart" and, most recently, "Big Girls Cry" that have garnered more than 1.4 billion views on YouTube. She also gained a spot in the fashion industry as she made her runway debut at the Fall 2015 Polo Ralph Lauren Children's show. She has also been featured in some popular magazines like Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Nylon.
Rowan Blanchard, 14
The young actress has proven that she also has the brains and guts to defend her principles. Started as Riley Matthews on Disney's "Girl Meets World", Blanchard has gained the admiration of feminists and known women, like Emma Watson. She wrote an essay about the importance of intersectional feminism that racked up more than 97,000 likes on Instagram.
Ashima Shiraishi, 14
The dainty young girl is the youngest person and first woman ever to finish Spain's"Open Your Mind Direct" route-climbing route-one of the most difficult courses in the world. The New York resident wishes to compete in the 2020 Olympics in Japan-only if rock climbing is added as a sport.
Ahmed Mohamed, 14
This ninth-grader has become famous for his homemade clock he brought to school, which was mistaken by his teachers for a bomb and caused him to be arrested. The incidence rooted a national debate over racial profiling. The nation supported him, including President Obama who called his clock "cool".
Jazz Jennings, 15
Jennings, who has lived as a girl since age 5, emerged as full-blown public figure as she spoke to Oprah Winfrey (and millions of viewers) about her transgender experiences. Her TLC docu-series I Am Jazz has lured more than 1.3 million viewers.
Chloe Kim, 15
The snowboarder from America, who began competing at age 6, became theyoungest person to win gold at the Winter X-Games. She won first place in the Women's SuperPipe event and has been hailed "the future of snowboarding".
Flynn MacGarry, 16
The "chef" has cooked his way to the cover of the New York Times Magazine. He has been a culinary sensation ever since he opened a supper club at the age of 11 out of his home in California. He has been serving meals in Manhattan and charging $160 a head for 14-course dinners.
Martin Odegaard, 16
The Norweigan sensation became the youngest player to take a pitch for Real Madrid, the wealthiest soccer club in the world. Odegaard, dubbed the "New Messi", signed a deal with Real Madrid earlier this year for 4$ million.
Amandla Stenberg, 17
Also known as Rue from The Hunger Games, the smart and bold actress has proven her point when she and her classmate made a viral video called "Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows" for a school history project. It was about how white "pop stars and icons adopted black culture as a way of being edgy" yet stayed silent on issues such as police brutality.
Shawn Mendes, 17
The Vine star has made his mark on the music industry with his debut album,Handwritten, that topped the Billboard 200. He also scored a slot as an opening act on Taylor Swift's blockbuster tour.
Jaden Smith, 17
Who does not know Will Smith's son and his philosophical insights shared in theNew York Times. This kid does not believe in conventional schooling because "it ends". He is also making waves in the music as he signed on to host his own radio show on Apple's Beats 1.

The older daughter of the U.S. President, of course, has become a cultural icon with her fashion choices and college visits.

Also known as Alex Dunphy of Modern Family, the young actress made national news for undergoing breast reduction surgery because of Internet bulliescommenting "how fat" and "disgusting" she has become.
William Turton, 17
This teen has started writing video game reviews at age 14 and breaking cyber-security news for The Daily Dot, a website that covers news about Internet culture. Earlier this year, he broke news of cyber attacks on the famous websites of Planned Parenthood and New York Magazine.
Silento, 17
The rapper from Stone Mountain who made "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" video popular. The video gained 2.5 million views within a week and reached Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Bindi Irwin, 17
The daughter of the famous late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin. The conservationist and actress became the crowd's favourite contestant on theDancing with the Stars. She was also featured in Us Weekly and Telegraphy Sunday Style magazines.
Olivia Hallisey, 17
She is the high school student who invented a new way to test for the Ebola virususing neither electricity nor refrigeration. Her study has won top honors at September's Google Science Fair.
Malala Yousafzai, 18
The native Pakistan girl who won Nobel Peace Prize award for the documentary He Named Me Malala. She spoke at a U.N. General Assembly, appealed for the release of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram and advocated global education over military spending.
Kylie Jenner, 18
She's one of the most-watched teenager in the world and one of the famous Kardashian siblings. She has 60 million followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. She inspires her fans to "be whoever they want to be".
Tiffany Zhong, 18
Much younger than her co-workers at Binary Capital, this lady is an analyst and associate at a venture-capital firm that holds $130 million in investments.
Maisie Williams, 18
Also know as Arya of Game of Thrones, Williams continues to become popular with 8.11 million viewers following the HBO show set series' last finale-as she branches out. The actress is also showing on another favourite show, Doctor Who, this year.
Lydia Ko, 18
The 17-year old New Zealander became the youngest golfer ranked number one in the world, defeating Tiger Wood's record.
Katie Ledecky, 18
She is the first swimmer to win 200-, 400-, 800- and 1,500-meter freestyle events in a major competition at the world championships in Kazan, Russia earlier this year. She also won the 800-m in London as the champion when she was only 15.
Zendaya, 19
The former Disney Channel star Zendaya Maree Stoerman Coleman has come out the champion of body positivity. She has been known for sharing un-photoshopped versions of her magazine photoshoot with her 14.1 million Instagram followers.

The young activist was one of the main leaders of Hong Kong's Umbrella Revolution and is now one of Hongkong's most recognizable political figures fighting for democracy.
