'Marvel Zombies': Avengers And Co. Take On The Undead In Exciting New Fan-Made Trailer [VIDEO]

Halloween is just around the corner, and people are understandably on the lookout for some scary movies to watch over the weekend.

Luckily, someone just made a scary fan-made trailer featuring an epic mash-up of superheroes and zombies for 'Marvel' and 'The Walking Dead' fans.

Youtube user Alex Luthor has just released another skillfully-made fan trailer for 'Marvel Zombies,' the comic book series written by 'The Walking Dead' creator Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Sean Phillips. Although the trailer doesn't seem to follow the premise of the comic series, where the heroes themselves are infected by a virus, it certainly looks action-packed and very well made.

The synopsis for the trailer reads as follows:

"It's Zombie apocalypse time for Marvel! How will the Marvel heroes handle the Zombies? Who will survive and who will turn? It's time for Marvel Zombies!"

'Marvel Zombies' features Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Bruce Banner (later the Hulk) finding out about a deadly virus outbreak and Pepper Potts appears to have been infected. The Avengers try to fight the undead while Nick Fury gives his speech, but it looks like the superheroes themselves are also infected.

The trailer features scenes from superhero film series like 'Avengers,' 'Iron Man,' 'Captain America,' 'Thor,' 'X-Men,' 'Spider-Man' and even makes use of the 'Deadpool' trailer. The zombie scenes were taken from 'Z Nation,' 'Contagion' as well as the 'Resident Evil' movie franchise.

The comic book series 'Marvel Zombies' was first printed in 2005 and features the Avengers as well as other Marvel heroes like the Fantastic Four, Magneto, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Black Panther, Giant-Man, Wasp and Spider-Man. Since the success of the five-part limited series, there have been sequels and even a Marvel/Dynamite Entertainment crossover called 'Marvel Zombies vs The Army of Darkness.'
