Is ABC TV Series Castle Killing a Cast Member? Are Beckett and Castle Going to Die This Season?

A blind item surfaced the TV sphere last week speculating the loss of a lead character in Castle. This created an uproar in Castle-country. Is Beckett leaving us this season? Will Castle fall to his death and would that mean the end of the well established TV Drama series? Is someone really getting killed? We'll put that to rest, right now.

Castle initially aired in March 9, 2009 and has been successful for the past six years. The show is now on it's 8th season. And to calm everybody down, Terence Paul Winter sits down with EW. Terence Paul Winter, the show's writer, assures us all, "We killed off Montgomery in season 3. We're not killing anymore people off," EW reports.

That's music to Castle fans - Castle and Beckett are safe. For now. Winter and Alexi Hawley, the show's producer, tells EW that the claims are not true. Hawley states that if those rumors were true then they shouldn't be telling reporter Richard Cartwright that we should all be excited to see what happens in January 2016. Well, that just spiked up more intrigue.

Castle is a long time running television drama series that centers around Richard Castle, as played by Nathan Fillion. Castle is a writer that killed of a main character in his books. This premise created a copy-cat murder and at the beginning of the long time drama, he was brought in by the NYPD for questioning. Later on he - being intrigued by the inner workings of the criminal minds - worked his way into following Detective Kate Beckett played by Stana Katic. And it all goes uphill from there.

Fillion is popularly known for his lead role in Firefly and has voiced several Halo video games. Katic is also known for her role in Heroes as Hana Gitelman and acted in a James Bond movie : Quantum of Solace.

The next Castle Episode will air on November 9, 2015.
