CBS made one of the best moves this fall when they released the new TV series, Limitless. It was from a movie that Bradley Cooper starred in and they decided to turn it into a TV show as a continuation of the film.
It is usually the TV series that comes first before it becomes a movie; it is completely the other way around on what happened with CBS' "Limitless." After airing the pilot of the show, the network decided to continue with it and create a full season out of it based on the ratings that it gave from the first day of airing. Limitless now has 22 episodes for fans to look forward to.
In addition to that, The Hollywood Reporter said that the network also made 6 more scripts for another series called 'Code Black.' This just shows that CBS is serious in getting more new shows for the network that the public would love.
The stars of the show are Jake McDorman and Jennifer Carpenter. This series started really strong with a plot that would make people think and be intrigued, as to the kind of drug that McDorman's character has to take in order to become a super genius. It might be a tough competition that Limitless is placed with other high rating shows on its time slot on a Tuesday like Quantico from ABC, Rosewood from Fox and Blindspotas from NBC.
TV Line interviewed the President of CBS Entertainment regarding the said full season order and here is what he has to say, ""We're excited how Limitless continues to evolve creatively each week and stand out with its unique style of storytelling."
He continued with, "It's off to a strong start in a highly competitive environment." It is indeed strong because the 9.9 million viewers who tuned during its pilot is a complete evidence that this series is promising.
