Kate Middleton stepped out to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on October 27, for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala and she opted for a totally different look.
The Duchess of Cambridge debuted a glamorous new floral dress by one of her favorite designers, London-based label Erdem.
Kate was full of colors in the thoroughly sophisticated silk dress at a gala dinner, which was attended by some of Britain's richest women.
Just 24 hours after she stepped out in an ice-blue Jenny Packham dress for the premiere of Spectre, the new James Bond film, she reappeared on the black tie scene – this time in a red, white and blue floral gown from Erdem with her hair down.
The dress has a tight, high-neck bodice, but then a billowing ruffled skirt that grazes the floor. The entire dress is covered in red, white, and blue flowers for a very feminine look.
The Duchess of Cambridge complemented the Ohana tulip-print outfit with the late Queen Mother's diamond and sapphire fringe earrings, a diamond bracelet which is believed to have been a wedding present from Prince Charles, plus an Anya Hindmarch 'Maud' satin black clutch.
Instead of sweeping her brunette curls into a low bun as she had at Monday night's Spectre premiere, Kate had a bouncy blowdry and let her hair hang relaxed around her shoulders.
Before dinner, Kate posed for a photograph with the 20-strong board of 100 Women in Hedge Funds. During a break between courses, she presented a leadership award to Elizabeth Corley, CEO of Allianz Global Investors. She received the award for her work mentoring future leaders of the investment banking industry.
The fund is a non-profit organisation for professionals in the alternative investments industry.
Its board of directors selects a charitable organization for its philanthropic initiative each year on a rotating basis from women's and family health, mentoring and education programs.
The gala holds a special connection for Kate's husband and brother-in-law, too. Prince William became a patron of 100WHF back in 2009, and in 2012, both Prince Harry and Princess Kate joined him as patrons.
