The latest 'Doctor Who' episode had a truly satisfying story, which allowed Maisie Williams to dominate just about every single scene she was in as the Lady Me and displayed certain chemistry with the Time Lord (Peter Capaldi). However, it looks like 'The Woman Who Lived' also left fans slightly disappointed that Ashildr will not be the replacement for Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) as the Twelfth Doctor's companion.
Although it may be possible that Maisie Williams had to take a pass on the coveted role for her already established one with 'Game of Thrones,' this will not be the last time she will appear in 'Doctor Who.' In fact, Ashildr will be making an appearance sooner than you think!
According to Com Bom, writer Sarah Dollard has confirmed Lady Me's appearance in the episode she penned. The announcement was made at the recent MCM 'Doctor Who' panel when Dollard spoke about 'Face the Raven,' where Ashildr is set to reunite with the TARDIS team.
But what could happen that would be enough to draw the Lady Me out of hiding? The synopsis for the episode reads as follows:
"Have you ever found yourself in a street you've never seen before? The next day, could you not find that street again? You weren't dreaming. Your memory isn't playing tricks. Like many lost souls throughout the ages, you have stumbled on an extraordinary secret - be grateful you survived it. The Doctor and Clara, with their old friend Rigsy, find themselves in a secret alien world, folded away among the streets of London. Not all of them will get out alive. One of the three intruders must face the raven..."
It looks like Rigsy (Joivan Wade) will be returning to help Clara Oswald once again. But does this mean that the Boneless are coming back as well?
The next 'Doctor Who' episode 'The Zygon Invasion' will air on October 31.
