Brad Pitt Island: Angelina Jolie Not Getting Heart-Shaped Chunk Of Land His 50th Birthday

Is Brad Pitt really getting a private island as a birthday gift?

According to E! News, rumors of the actor, who will be turning 50 next month, getting a heart-shaped island from his soon-to-be-wife Angelina Jolie, are false,

Donna Massaro, whose parents Joseph and Barbara Massaro own the island; have reportedly said no one has placed a bid on the island and that it's still on the market.

"It is not true," Massaro told E! News. "It is still for sale. We are open to show Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt the island but they have to have lunch at my cafe first. It [the house] is a labor of love and a piece of art."

The London Mirror reported last week, that Jolie had purchased Pitt a $19.7 million heart-shaped island called Petra in New York. The Island features two homes built by the actor's favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

"As soon as Angelina heard the island was on the market she arranged a viewing. She was really impressed," a source reportedly told the Mirror. "The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It's very private. And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him."

The island is 11 acres and comes with a helicopter pad and is accessible by boat. Petra is a 1,200-square-foot cottage, and a 5,000-square-foot main residence which is described as "nothing short of an architectural masterpiece."

Built in 2008, the house includes several sky lit rooms and "and vast expanses of stone, cement, and mahogany, the main residence is truly a triumph of modern architecture, PrivateIslandsOnline.com stated.

The couple has been together since 2005 with children Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, seven, Vivienne and Knox, both five.
