Life continues to be a fairytale for Ginnifer Goodwin.
The "Once Upon a Time" actress confirmed she's expecting her first child with her co star, fiancé Josh Dallas, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Other details, including the baby's gender and due date, are being kept private. According to E! News, the short-haired star had been wearing loose-fitting clothing for weeks, sparking speculation that she might be expecting.
Goodwin and Dallas, who play Snow White and Prince Charming on the ABC drama, first went public with their romance in April 2012 after meeting on set.
"It hit me like a blinding light," Dallas, 31, told People. "I thought 'I'm in trouble now.'"
In March 2012, a source told E! News that Goodwin, 35, and Dallas, had an "immediate connection when they met" in 2011. At the time, Dallas was married to "Sherlock" star Lara Pulver, so initially he and Goodwin were "just friends."
"They were shooting in Canada together and because they were both away from home, they inevitably started to socialize together off the set as well as on-and they got closer as friends," a source said.
In October, the couple confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE.
"We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at 'Once Upon a Time,'" the two told PEOPLE.
The "He's Just Not That Into You" actress has long expressed her desire to become a mother. In November 2010, Goodwin who was engaged to actor Joey Kern. The actress told InStyle UK she hopes to have a large family.
"I want three or five children, but I need a bigger house or a smaller closet," said "The Killing Kennedy" star. "If it happened right now, I would absolutely have a baby. The only issue I have with aging is nothing to do with my career. It's that I want to have a lot of kids before I'm physically unable to do so."
