The long wait is almost over. It has been four years since Adele last debuted a studio album, but there's no more waiting as the singer reveals the upcoming release date of her new album "25", which is set to due on November 20, Friday, Billboard reported.
It must be a very busy year for the 27-year old British singer-songwriter, following the announcement of her new album, which comes with an 11-song track list, including the album's lead single "Hello". Below is the music video for "Hello" which has just been dropped via Vevo a few hours ago.
Adele made the announcement on Thursday, October 22. During the same day, she also unveiled the album art, a sepia-toned portrait that is actually the same to her previous albums 19 and 21.
The remaining 10 tracks next to 'Hello' are namely, 'Send My Love', 'I Miss You', 'When We Were Young', 'Remedy', 'Water Under The Bridge', 'River Lea', 'Love In The Dark', 'Million Years Ago', 'All I Ask' and 'Sweetest Devotion'.
'25' happens to be Adele's first new material since she last debuted her 2012 soundtrack "Skyfall". Adding to this, the album is also her first full-length recording after almost five years, following her last project '21' which was debuted back in 2011.
Before the soulful singer officially announced the launching of her new album, reports say that she has been hinting for the project since July 2014.
Adele wrote a message on Twitter a day before her 26th birthday last year, saying "Bye bye 25.. See you again later in the year."
Along with the announcement, Adele also sent an open letter online on Wednesday, October 21, to share what the album means to her and what inspired her to end up with the album title '25'.
"Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties." Adele wrote. "Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-edged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk."
She added, "I miss everything about my past, the good and the bad, but only because it won't come back."
Setting aside work, Adele reportedly took the time off from the spotlight back in 2012, after she welcomed her son, Angelo with husband Simon Konecki.
