This year has been a real roller coaster ride for One Direction, following the exit of Zayn Malik and the pressure they have been getting as their upcoming hiatus comes near.
But more than just Malik's departure and the band's hiatus, the now four-piece band, especially Liam Payne who has just returned performing after he suffered a serious meltdown on Monday, October 19, are now more focused on how they can make things up to their fans after they were forced to cancel their Belfast concert, just half an hour before the show was set to kick off.
According to Hollywood Life, Liam Payne has finally returned performing on stage on Thursday, October 22, two days after he was hospitalized. Following his comeback, Payne also did not miss out thanking everyone who showed all their concerns and sent in their warmth messages during his stay in the hospital.
"Thank you so much for all the trends and lovely messages you guys did for me it really shows how amazing u guys actually are." Payne wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning. "As I said I'm feeling much better and I really can't wait to perform and make it up to everyone later."
Reports say that the cancelled concert left thousands of fans waiting at the concert venue all disappointed. Setting aside the disappointments, the 1D fans were more worried about Payne's current health condition, which according to a source, the "pressure of fame and being on the road for two years has made Liam ill."
"He was devastated about letting everyone down, especially the fans, but wasn't physically able to get on stage. He had a complete meltdown." the source told Sun.
Now that they're finally back to work, One Direction is getting ready for the upcoming release of their album "Made in the A.M" which is set to due on November 13, Friday. The band is also headed to their next show on Sunday, October 25, at the Metro Radio Arena, United Kingdom.
