Sara Lee has debuted a new range of frozen desserts called "Incredibly" into Australian supermarkets.
Australian Food News shared that the range includes the following products: Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, Chocolate and Pear Lava Pudding, Chocolate and Raspberry Lava Pudding, Lemon Cheesecake, Mango and Coconut Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Cheesecake and Sticky Date Ice Cream.
Brand owner McCain Foods Australia will be supporting the launch with an extensive four-month long advertising campaign which involves digital, retail, national magazines and publications, transit and outdoor advertisements.
Moreover, the campaign has been created in conjunction with Sydney-based advertising agency O'Shea and O'Brien and centers around the tagline: "Incredibly Easy to Justify."
Sara Lee's Marketing Manager Karen Ramsay said that the range is for "foodie consumers" who want a more gourmet dessert. As a matter of fact, the new Sara Lee desserts are now available now from supermarkets Australia-wide with recommended retail prices varying between products.
To recall, this is not the first time that Sara Lee rolled out new dessert products. In actual fact, it released two new frozen desserts in 2013 called "Cookies & Cream Cheesecake" and "Perfectly Portioned for 2 Fruit Pies."
"Cookies and cream is growing in popularity in the refrigerated and frozen sweets categories and Sara Lee has developed its own take on this top flavor," Food Processing reported at that time. "New Sara Lee Cookies & Cream Cheesecake expands the brand's popular original cream cheesecake lineup beyond original and fruit flavors; it is made with high-quality ingredients and captures the rich and creamy taste of cheesecake combined with cookies and cream."
"As the smaller, single-serve dessert trend continues, Sara Lee has partnered portion with convenience with its new 10-ounce, pre-baked fruit pies. New Sara Lee Perfectly Portioned for 2 Fruit Pies fulfill consumers' need for smaller serving options for one- or two-person households," the report reads. "Made with real fruit and featuring a flaky, golden crust, the pies are designed to deliver an oven-fresh, homemade taste in a matter of minutes. Available in Apple and Cherry pie varieties."
