'iZombie' Episode Recap: Vaughn Du Clark Gets On Liv's Nerves! Did The Max Rager Big Boss Just Reveal Gilda's Identity? [SPOILERS]

[SPOILERS AHEAD! THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE CONTAINS DETAILS FROM THE 'iZOMBIE' EPISODE 'REAL DEAD HOUSEWIFE OF SEATTLE']

The new episode of 'iZombie' saw the return of Peyton and a few surprising details about Vaughn Du Clark and his little spy Gilda! Plus, surprise! It's Liv's birthday!

After a long absence, Peyton (Aly Michalka) has finally returned to Seattle, and there's no one who is more surprised that Ravi (Rahul Kohli). However, it doesn't look like there was much of a connection between Liv (Rose McIver) and Peyton, although everyone's favorite zombie find out that her best friend has actually left her a birthday cake. There might be hope for the friendship after all.

But the relationship that appears to be taking a different turn is the one between Major (Robert Buckley) and Gilda (Leanne Lapp). Liv's new roommate/spy has finally seduced the utopium-addicted zombie slayer, who continues to keep his end of the deal with Max Rager.

Although every member of the 'iZombie' cast does an excellent job in 'Real Dead Housewife of Seattle,' there was one actor who appeared to be enjoying his role a little too much, which isn't a bad thing. Steven Weber, who plays Max Rager big boss Vaughn Du Clark, towers over the latest episode. His villain does everything possible to get on Liv's nerves, from overtly showing how he has control over Major to tossing around mean one-liners. It probably doesn't help that he is having an affair with the victim, who is a rich housewife who was murdered by her own best friend.

Perhaps the worst thing that Vaughn Du Clark does in the episode is offering a hint about his spying assistant. At one point, the Max Rager boss says that Gilda is around because he likes to sleep with other wealthy men's wives. Did he mean that his assistant is actually his daughter or someone who works to keep him out of trouble?

The next 'iZombie' episode is titled 'Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues' and will air on The CW on October 27.
