Jurassic World Deleted Scene Involving Dinosaur Poop in DVD and Blu-Ray Release

After a successful run of the movie Jurassic World in theatres, from the franchise Jurassic Park, the Blu-Ray and DVD copies were released on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

In the movie, John Hammond's vision for the future was fully realized twenty two years later after Jurassic Park was created. Jurassic World emerged in a new park area called Isla Nublar by the Misrani Corporation.

Because the movie was centered in the 21st Century, it also included the era's modern technological advancements - smart phones, holograms - and even the ever-reliable short attention span of any entertainment market.

With that said, the movie centered around a new kind of entertainment, brought about, by the public's constant demand for something newer and bigger. The release of the DVD and Blu-Ray copies also include deleted scenes from the movie.

Such scenes include: Owen (played by Chris Pratt) telling Claire (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) to cover herself up with dinosaur feces so they won't be detected by the park's carnivourous dinosaurs. In the scene, Owen found a pile of dinosaur feces and begins to smear himself with it.

In a clip shown by The Times, Owen tells Claire, "You need to cover up that smell of vanilla scented lotion you put on before you came to see me."

The scene was in remembrance of the first movie's dinosaur dung scene. In Jurassic Park, Dr. Ellie Sattler (played by Laura Dern) jumped out of the moving caravan to check out a sick triceratops in the field. She digs through the mound of triceratops feces to find out why the dinosaur became sick.

As to why the scene was deleted from the movie release? Who knows. There are a lot more deleted scenes that can be observed in the Blu-Ray and DVD copies of Jurassic World.
