Though we definitely cannot argue over the fact that Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are two real serious coaches when it comes to mentoring their teams on NBC's reality singing competition, "The Voice", it seems like they simply just couldn't hide how crazy they can get being around with each other.
39-year old county singer, Blake Shelton, who never misses throwing pokes to his playmate and fellow mentor, Adam Levine, has made fun of the singer's newly shaved head, HollywoodLife reported.
Following 'The Voice' season 9 airing, Levine returned with a new look and recent captured footages will show you proofs how much Shelton enjoys making fun at the singer's new bald look.
Levine shaved his hair back in July, but the episodes are just airing now and the last three episodes were aired already.
"It's frustrating, isn't it? I've bet you just been calling your hair about it, haven't you?" Shelton joked while smiling. Adam replied, "Oh that's funny, is that a hair joke?"
According to Huffington Post, Shelton went off-cam and took to Twitter to take down Levine's bald haircut, he wrote "Thank goodness #Gandhi was there to help you make that decison, @gwenstefani #AdamsBald"
Levine upon reading the tweet, immediately replied "Excuse me. Lex Luthor was bald. I have "shaved" my head. Meaning, shaved by choice. Big difference. Ok?! Ok?!!"
Besides comparing Levine's bald haircut to some fictional characters like Dr. Evil and Lex Luthor, Shelton also told Levine to rub his head like a Buddha to increase his luck in picking his singers following the battle pairing.
Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have been close rivals since 'The Voice' season 1, but no worries, they are seemingly just trying to trim down the tension inside the battle ring, following the recent episode last October 19, where they in fact they even helped each other out to save one of the other's contenders to be able to push through until the next battle round.
Nextweek's 'The Voice' knockout battle rounds will be guest-mentored by pop star, Rihana. 'The Voice' Season 9 airs every Mondays and Tuesday's at 8/7 on NBC.
