It has been officially a year since actor George Clooney and lawyer Amal Alamuddin tied the knot. Clooney brought out the romantic side of him when he gifted his wife a sushi restaurant in London as his wedding anniversary gift.
In an article written by The Inquisitr, the couple has just recently celebrated their union and Clooney wanted it to be memorable and as usual, grand. His wife is fond of this one sushi restaurant in Los Angeles known as the Asanebo Japanese and she's been telling him that there is nothing like that in London.
After learning about what his wife wants, he then made some negotiations with the head chef of the said restaurant, Tetsuya Nakao, and asked him to open up a brank in London. This is the perfect way for his wife to have her favorite sushi when they are not in Los Angeles where they reside.
Belfast Telegraph's sources said, "She always complains there's nowhere as good in London, so since last year George has been in talks with the head chef and owner Tetsuya Nakao about opening a London branch. He wants to make sure Amal can always have access to their favorite dishes when she's at home in London."
Clooney was serious to making his wife happy that The Independent reported about him shedding out $464,109 for this business to happen, as he is also willing to market and promote this restaurant as soon as it launches. The head chef was said to be close to the couple and he is also aware that this deal would even be a good thing for his business.
Clooney is proving to be the dream man every woman on earth would want to have as a husband and it is also obvious that his wife is also doing a great job in making him happy.
