It's every stoner's dream to get paid while doing something you love. Pot smokers all over the United States are thrilled upon hearing the news that they'll get paid, while getting high AT WORK. As per Weedhorn, researchers are looking for participants that are willing to smoke weed. Each participant would be paid $3,000 a week if they'd sign in for the job.

This may sound easy, but there's always a catch. The participants would commit to the 6 month long research conducted by National Institute of Drug Abuse [NIDA]. They are focused in studying the effects of marijuana on the body.

As per the terms of the study, the participant will reside in one of the six research facilities around the United States. They will be observed and studied to see if marijuana can alleviate stress while the smoker is dealing with his or her everyday life. As per The Stoners Cookbook, each participant will be asked to smoke weed, in which they would then be observed on whether they can still actively perform their daily task [cleaning, cooking, etc.]

As per Michael Gregory, the lead researcher:

"This is one of the first studies that will finally reveal the answer of the age old acquisition that stoners are 'Just Lazy', an exciting new study that may push the legality of marijuana to all 50 states."

In addition to the study, they will also test stoners on their "marijuana dependency." The study will be evaluating a medication to suppress the said "marijuana addiction." Stoners will be observed if the over the counter supplement "N-acetylcysteine" would lessen their urge to smoke pot. This specific supplement was once used to treat schizophrenia and gambling addictions.

This research is actually good news to marijuana enthusiast as it can be a leeway in breaking the impression that stoners are lazy.it does not only contribute in changing the world's views against marijuana, but it is also a way to help pot smokers form the US get a decent high earning pay check.

To those who are interested in knowing more regarding this said research, interested applicants can contact NIDA though their website.
