She obviously couldn't keep her chill. Selena Gomez, who sounded like she has a thing for superheroes, revealed she has a crush on Captain America: Civil War's actor, Chris Evans, ABC reported.
"I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn't he cute?" the 23-year old 'Come & Get It' singer told TV host, Andy Cohen. "He's very cute."
After Gomez revealed the name of her new crush, her fellow guest Willie Geist then asked if she has said it in public before. "No. This is the first time." Gomez replied.
As Geist jokingly said, "That's in the universe," the singer immediately responded, "Oh, man. He's either going to hate me or love me."
Andy Cohen joined the conversation, saying "I think he's going to love you!". Geist added, "I think he'll be OK with it."
Gomez, who has been frequently linked to her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, has never been in a serious relationship following their split-up, while Evans, on the other hand, isn't sure if there would still be a chance for him and his on-and-off ex-girlfriend, Minka Kelly, to be back together.
While this has left some hope for a possible Selena and Chris tandem in the future, the young singer appears to be not ready yet for a new love and has actually much more important things to do than entering into a new relationship again.
Besides being asked about her love life, Gomez was also asked if her closeness to the 'Bad Blood' hit-maker Taylor Swift created a gap between her and Demi Lovato.
She replied, saying that it "absolutely" did not, adding "You're kids, you know what I mean? You grow up together."
After a series of questions from Cohen, one viewer on the same episode apparently asked Selena about her thoughts on Miley Cyrus, who happens to be her former peer during her Disney Channel years.
"I feel like everybody has their own path. Look at where everybody is. Ultimately, that's what you kind of have to look at." Gomez replied.
She went on saying, "I'm not giving you a politically correct answer. I think everybody has their own right to do what they want, and if that's their interpretation of art, then that's their interpretation of art."
Selena Gomez on her career, she has continued to soar high on several music charts and has currently taken the lead on the latest Billboard 200 chart for her album "Revival".
