It hasn't been a month since Kaley Cuoco filed divorce papers, but Ryan Sweeting has finally responded - in some way - to that painful and heartbreaking piece of paper.
According to court documents acquired by Entertainment Tonight, the tennis pro is asking Kaley Cuoco for spousal support.
Which isn't really a surprise: Kaley Cuoco reportedly earns $1 million per episode for her CBS hit series, "The Big Bang Theory." Not only that, but Kaley Cuoco net worth is $45 million - a far cry from Ryan Sweeting net worth of $2 million.
The divorce was initially deemed to be something quick - like Blake Shelton Miranda Lambert 10-day divorce quick - since Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting already had a pre-nuptial agreement.
With Ryan Sweeting seeking spousal support, the divorce process might just prolong and become more troublesome for Kaley Cuoco.
What seems to be more intriguing about the whole issue, however, is the difference in date of separation the ex-couple listed in their court documents. Apparently, Ryan Sweeting listed September 25, 2015 as the date of separation - the same day the divorce was announced.
On the other hand, Kaley Cuoco's documents listed the date of separation as September 3 - three weeks earlier than what Sweeting had enlisted. Furthermore, Cuoco stated "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce filing as the reason behind the failed marriage.
A source close to Ryan Sweeting shared his assumptions on why Kaley Cuoco decided to break up with the tennis pro, saying: "She realized she wants to be with a guy who has a job and is motivated."
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting dated for three months prior to getting engaged. The two were married for 21 months since they tied the knot on December 31, 2013.
