Kanye West keeps dropping surprise bombs!
The 38-year-old rapper dropped a huge bomb at the 2015 MTV VMAs when he announced that he's planning to run for president on 2020 - but this newest surprise probably tops that.
Kanye West just shared two new songs on his official Soundcloud page, and although the news only surfaced now, the upload date of the songs go as far back as two weeks ago.
The first one isn't a new song per se, but it's a new version of "Say You Will," and it even features "an appearance from violinist Caroline Shaw," as reported by Complex.
This isn't the first time West worked with Caroline Shaw. In fact, The Atlantic reports that Kanye West first saw Shaw perform in New York City live. The rapper then recruited Caroline Shaw to work with him at his Democratic National Committee fundraiser performance in San Francisco.
The second track is Kanye West's own rendition of the Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends," which Kanye - of course -- renamed "When I See It."
In case you didn't know, Kanye West actually co-produced "Tell Your Friends" for the Weeknd. However, this new version definitely kicks it up a notch - Kanye West is bringing his own "808s & Heartbreak" spin to it.
IBNJasper was one of the first few people to share the news - and his rightly did so on his Instagram account. Unfortunately, he didn't get into much detail as to why this unpredictable move from Kanye West came about.
This is the first music that Kanye West has released since "All Day" back in March. It's still unconfirmed if these new tracks will make it to his long-anticipated upcoming album, "SWISH."
Speaking of "SWISH," no one still knows when it's coming out - Kanye West claims that its album name remains the same, but everyone might have to wait a few more years until it actually gets a release.
