Tracy Morgan’s Come Back to ‘SNL’

After his tragic accident, Tracy Morgan is now back on track. His first appearance after his comatose condition was on the familiar stage of his one and only "Saturday Night Live".

Morgan said:"I was in a terrible car accident more than a year ago. It was awful, but it also showed me how much love and support I have in this world,"

"People are wondering, 'Can he speak? Does he have 100 percent mental capacity?'" he asked. "The truth is, I never did. I might even be a few points higher."

Along with him during the show were his old friend in "30 Rock" co-stars Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer.

"We're so happy you're OK. We're even happier you're ready to make people laugh again," Fay seriously said to Morgan.

"As you can see, everything is going to be just fine," the host said. "I've got my family here, my cast, my crew, and I've got my Obi-Wan Kenobi, Lorne Michaels. So let's be funny."

It was an emotionally rewarding chapter of the show, an episode that left no hesitation that Morgan is taking gigantic steps in his revitalization.

Similar to several "SNL" guest hosts, Morgan tumble over a little words and looked firm at the cue cards. But his man-child personality, his loud sincerity, his adorability, was all very much unbroken.

He also managed to bring back and re-enact a few characters from his past years on "SNL".

The host suffered severe head trauma and was in comatose for two weeks after his accident in June 2014 when the limo van he was riding in was slammed by a truck into the back. The accident happened in New Jersey wherein Morgan's mentor, comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair died in the crash. Three other passengers suffered serious injuries.
