A hyper Friday night with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel was at hand as Kimmel visited the CBS "The Late Show" along with his mutual agent, James Dixon of WME-owned Dixon Talent.
Jimmy Kimmel, the host of ABC's competitor "Jimmy Kimmel Live" late-night franchise, visited the "Late Show" hosted by Stephen Colbert. He then congratulated Colbert in the beginning and then rebukes the "Late Show" host for taking next week off following six weeks behind the desk.
"Everybody works more than six weeks in a row," Kimmel said with tease enragement. Colbert responded: "You should get a better agent."
The two host joked extensively about the man they know as James "Baby Doll" Dixon. They joked regarding Dixon's tan, his chain-smoking and his pleasure in cologne. Colbert said to Kimmel: "You're an artist," after seeing the stylized lithograph print of Dixon that was crafted by Kimmel as a present for Colbert a few years ago.
The duo also distinguished Dixon's strange supremacy on behalf of top late-night artists with a list that takes into account Jon Stewart and Carson Daly. "He's the real king of late-night," Colbert said.
The two also spilled jokes about the temporary nature of their jobs and not being capable to retain information of what had occurred the night prior their shows.
"We do nothing," Kimmel said. When every day's taping is ended, "we've made nothing, we've done nothing. People laugh and then don't ever think about it again."
Colbert afterward unveiled that he'd test Kimmel to a pasta sauce cook off. The two offered their dishes to a out of the ordinary visitor judge and that is of course - Dixon. Kimmel attempted to gain support by serving up his plate with a salad made of money along with a big bowl of cigarettes.
Dixon preferred Colbert's sauce as the better of the two, which encouraged Kimmel to run after him around the stage in an attempt to situate him in a head lock.
