Gigi Hadid has turned into one of the most sought-after models in recent times along with the likes of BFF Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, but she's part of a larger family that knows quite a bit about this profession, including mom Yolanda Foster and younger sister Bella Hadid, a model herself.
Due to Gigi's high profile (she's even dating singer Joe Jonas), Bella Hadid's model work isn't as far-reaching as her sister's, but the star is definitely looking to change that with her new cover on Seventeen, where she reveals she's tired of being compared to her sister and to one particular Oscar winner.
Speaking to the teen magazine, 19 year-old Bella Hadid model revealed that she compares herself to sister Gigi as well, but reminds herself that Gigi has been "doing this forever," and it's okay that they both go in different paces - but she's still pretty over everyone else drawing comparisons.
"I can't keep comparing myself to her because we're so different," said Bella Hadid, model, according to Vogue. "But people still love to compare and contrast us - what's better about her or what's not that good about me - and it's hard because people are really mean."
As Refinery29 reports, Gigi isn't the only famous person she's compared to, as she's also told "five times a day" about her striking resemblance to "X-Men" actress Jennifer Lawrence, and though Bella Hadid model says she doesn't really see the resemblance between the two, she does admit that she gets about five people every time she's on set telling her she looks like J-Law.
Interestingly enough, besides looking like J-Law, Bella might want to do what she does at some point as well, as she's also planning to pursue a career in acting at some point.
In any case, after having been part of some of the biggest catwalks in the past season, it's safe to say that Bella Hadid's model career is well oiled without big sister Gigi, even struggling with such a devastating illness as Lyme disease.
