Subway Mouse: Oregon Guy Finds Dead Rodent Inside Italian Sandwich, Surprisingly Keeps His Cool [PHOTO]

Only a few months after a hoax regarding a supposed fried rat at a KFC, an actual rodent did end up on someone's meal when they were visiting a fast food joint, when an Oregon citizen was about to eat his Italian sandwich and ended up finding a Subway mouse hiding in his spinach.

In one of the grossest stories in recent times, two men in Lincoln, Oregon, dropped by one of the restaurants belonging to the sandwich-selling chain for lunch only to find a dead Subway mouse inside one of their sandwiches, and shockingly enough, the man who found the dead rodent inside his sub managed to keep his cool and even see things with a sense of humor.

According to KSNT, the Subway mouse story went viral after Matt Jones posted the picture of the dead mouse inside the spinach on his Facebook, showing the world what was inside his pal Jay Amstead's lunch order.

As Syracuse reports, the two men showed the Subway mouse to the manager, who was clearly "in shock" to find the rodent hidden between spinach leaves and obviously offered to give Amstead a second sandwich, which the customer understandably turned down after such a nasty experience.

According to International Business Times, though, Amstead took things fairly lightly for someone who had just found a Subway mouse hidden inside his sub.

"Jay was shocked and I asked what is it a finger nail or a pubic hair... He said no it's a little bigger than that," recounted pal Jones, telling the world the story that has since gone viral. "So I walked back up to the counter and asked to see what it was! She actually let me take a picture of the mouse in the Subway sandwich! LMFAO!"

It is thought that the Subway mouse didn't actually come from the restaurant but rather the spinach supplier - you can watch the absolutely disgusting pic below.

Look at that Beast of a mouse in the spinach at Subway today! Good thing we didn't bite into it! AMAZING! WTF!!! The manager was in shock!
