Moon Knight Netflix: Another ‘Defender’ Might Join ‘Daredevil’ And ‘Jessica Jones’ – Is Marvel Bringing Marc Spector To TV? [VIDEO]

Things being as they are right now in the Netflix section of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are five shows planned for the next couple of years, after the first one, "Daredevil," was met with astounding critical and audience success earlier this year - but could Moon Knight's Netflix become part of the plan now?

On November 20, the second Marvel-Netflix collab will hit the screen, which is when the first season of "A.K.A. Jessica Jones" will be released in its entirety; it will be followed by "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" ahead of "Defenders," but new rumors say that "Moon Knight" Netflix could also be in the line-up.

Collider Heroes, the website's videocast fully dedicated to superhero movies and similar news, reported on its latest video that a "Moon Knight" Netflix adaptation might be in the works, years after the character, involved in the Avengers and the Defenders in the comic books, returned to Marvel.

According to IGN, the current rumor is that, considering the current line-up in the streaming website, it might make sense for a "Moon Knight" Netflix endeavor, and rumor has it that Marc Spector's story might reach the MCU through television instead of the big screen.

As Screen Crush reports, part of what makes the "Moon Knight" Netflix a real possibility is the fact that Punisher, another Defender, is getting its own introduction in the next season of "Daredevil," which prompts speculation that perhaps the character will be introduced in a similar manner - though it's unclear whether Punisher will get its own series if its first appearance is successful enough.

Of course, for now the whole thing is no more than speculation, but there has been talk of a "Moon Knight" series for about a decade, though it's never gotten developed yet.
