Lamar Odom Status: MRI Reveals Former LA Lakers Player Suffered Multiple Strokes, Hospital Witnesses Claim Traces of Cocaine and Track Marks [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

As Lamar Odom remains hospitalized and in a coma, more details about his status are surfacing.

According to witnesses at the hospital where Lamar Odom is currently staying, the medical emergency was actually caused by multiple strokes, as revealed by an MRI.

In addition, Lamar Odom is currently on a 3-5 hours dialysis due to kidney failure. It is still unknown if the stokes he suffered have led to brain damage.

Sources from TMZ say that Lamar Odom is still unconscious and unresponsive, which contradicts what Jesse Jackson had told the media.

After walking out of the hospital, Jesse Jackson said that he spent 30 minutes with Lamar Odom, saying that "his condition was improving" in addition to having "signs of responsiveness."

But the publication's in-hospital sources claim that Jesse Jackson was only allowed to stay with the "Khloe & Lamar" star for 3 minutes - only to pray with him. Furthermore, the sources claim that Jackson is wrong about Lamar Odom's condition.

Hospital witnesses claim that Lamar Odom was found to have cocaine in his system, in addition to track marks on one of his arms.

Witnesses also tell TMZ that doctors found that the former LA Lakers player had cocaine and opiates in his system, but it is still unknown if the track marks are of recent use or from previous drug usage.

Furthermore, doctors - who told the people close to Lamar Odom - found fluid in his lungs, which apparently was because of crack cocaine.

Earlier reports said that sources from Love Ranch - where Lamar Odom was staying while in Las Vegas - claimed that the former NBA star was taking an herbal alternative for Viagra, although these drugs were not found.

Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof also told the publication that "he can't swear Lamar wasn't doing drugs in his room."

Apparently, Lamar Odom's party friends went to the hospital to visit the ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian, "but they were turned away."
