Ben Affleck Completely Shaves His Beard Off at the Beasts of No Nation Premiere

It has been known back in June that Ben Affleck had been growing the beard since he unveiled his breakup from his wife, the CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the ABC spy-action thriller drama series Alias - Jennifer Garner.

But now, the Batman V Superman star Ben Affleck has completely shaved off his longtime beard, as the American actor and screenwriter Affleck, stepped out Tuesday night sporting a new clean-shaven look, without a slight indication of scruff.

Ben Affleck joined the singer who has won nine Grammy Awards and one Golden Globe - John Legend, at the Beasts of No Nation premiere Tuesday night in Los Angeles, where he debuted his fresh-faced look. The 43 year old actor dressed up casual in gray jeans, a black top and a matching leather jacket.

Then Ben Affleck and John Legend joined the director of Beasts of No Nation - Cary Fukunaga at the screening, along with the Ghanaian actor - Abraham Attah. Also in attendance was the head of content acquisition for Netflix - Ted Sarandos. Beasts of No Nation film gets its global release on Friday.

The Beasts of No Nation film is based on the book by Uzodinma Iweala, that unveils the story of a child soldier in an unnamed African country, who is recruited by a savagely fierce Commandant, portrayed by the British actor Idris Elba.

On the other hand, looking back at Ben Affleck's facial hair patterns, is like being through a roller coaster of emotions as well. As Ben Affleck famously had the salt-and-pepper bowl cut and full beard for his role in 2013's Oscar-winning - American political thriller film - Argo. Ben Affleck then made that beard neat to some minimal scruff during dinner at Craig's restaurant in Hollywood. But now, the actor is completely clean-shaven.

For the new facial look of Ben Affleck, the actor's young daughters Violet and Seraphina will be certainly happy about it, which is actually for Affleck's film Live By Night.
