Nintendo's WiiU console hasn't been nearly as successful as the video gaming giant expected it to be, and that has brought the Japanese company into thinking it may be time to rehash past successes - could a "Legend of Zelda" HD remake be in the works to save the console?
Two of the most beloved titles of the series about Link and Princess Zelda have been recently re-released in "Legend of Zelda" HD, namely Nintendo 64's "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask," re launched for their portable console in the past couple of years, and it might be time to get WiiU the same treatment as the Nintendo 3DS has.
According to IGN, although there have been no official big announcements as a release of this magnitude would mean, one fan of the saga has recently discovered a "Legend of Zelda" HD version at the WiiU's eShop, prompting fans to jump in excitement.
As Game Rant reports, this could mean a new "Legend of Zelda" HD venture as "Twilight Princess," originally released in 2006 for the company's console GameCube to great success critically and with audiences, could be getting a re-release soon with more beautiful graphics retelling the story nearly a decade after it was first launched.
According to Mashable, while fans eagerly await word on a new "Legend of Zelda" HD venture, one of television's biggest champions of gamer culture, new "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert, recently gave some love to geeks all over the world by getting a full-blown orchestra to play music from the beloved videogame on the show, as "The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses" took the stage usually covered by big bands (where even Pearl Jam said bid farewell to former host David Letterman) for a four-movement composition on Nintendo's Celtic tale.
Ahead of any "Legend of Zelda" HD announcements, treat your ears to some of the beautifully orchestrated version on Colbert's show this week!
