Kirsten Dunst "I Sat in Bed, Watched Friday Night Lights and Ate Cheese and Bread to Gain Weight for Fargo''

On Monday night Kirsten Dunst stopped by to chat with Jimmy Kimmel to promote the premiere of Fargo season two, which will be aired on that same night.

The series was to be set in South Dakota and the role did not call for fit Hollywood bodies, so Dunst had to gain weight to fit the role. Recalling how she did it, she said she ate pizza and grilled cheese for months while she stayed in bed watching Friday Night Lights while they shot in frigid Calgary.

Basically, she ate everything involving cheese and bread, which she said honestly sounded grand to her.

However, the pending Woodshock film, required her to lose 10 pounds in two weeks, Dunst revealed to Town and Country in August. The character was supposed to look ill so she needed to shed her excess weight really fast.

Dunst did a lot of TV work in the 1990s including a recurring role in ER, a few episodes of Sisters and a gig on The Outer Limits.

She recently popped up on IFC"s Portlandia. In addition to her breakout roles on FNL and Breaking Bad with Plemons, who recently appeared in HBO"s Olive Kitteridge opposite Frances McDormand. McDormand won an Oscar for her work in the Fargo film,

Fargo was a 1996 American black comedy crime thriller written, produced, edited, and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

Kirsten Dunst hasn't been the favorite, yet Drop Dead beautiful was one of the all time favorite films.

Dunst stars in season two of FX’s crime anthology, Fargo, with hearing her Minnesota accent was giving Drop Dead fond memories. That film was at its highest during the season one. 

Kirsten and her handsome boyfriend, Garrette Hedlund, 30-year-old, who joined her for the red carpet appearanced a rare move for the couple.

Garrett John Hedlund was an American actor, model and singer.
