Miley Cyrus Poses Topless for Rolling Stone: Talks Music, Advice From Kanye and VMA's

Miley Cyrus is naked on the October cover of Rolling Stone.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is topless in a body of water with her trademark tongue-wagging. In the magazine, the 20-year-old singer addressed her new sexed-up persona and her controversial VMA performance with singer Robin Thicke.

"People are like, 'Miley thinks she's a black girl, but she's got the flattest ass ever,'" she said. "I'm like, 'I'm 108 pounds! I know!' Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I'll probably never do that s--t again."

Cyrus said she could have been even more vulgar at the VMA show.

"Honestly, that was our MTV version," Cyrus said. "I didn't expect it to become such a controversy. I thought that's what the VMAs were all about! It's not the Grammys or the Oscars. You're not supposed to show up in a gown, Vanna White-style. It's supposed to be fun!"

The former "Hannah Montana" star said Kanye West gave her a pep talk prior to going onstage.

"He came in and goes, 'There are not a lot of artists I believe in more than you right now,'" she said. "The whole room went quiet. I was like, 'Yo can you say that again?!'

She said the rapper gave her a speech and told the entire room how much he believed in her as an artist. Before hitting the stage Cyrus said she repeated the rapper's words in her mind to keep her from getting nervous.

Cyrus recently announced her split from fiancé of 18-months actor Liam Hemsworth.

The singer tweeted a colleague of pictures from her photohoot.

Cyrus's new album, "Bangerz," hits stores Oct. 8.
