41 year-old Nick Lachey and his wife 34 year-old, Vanessa Lachey were on a literally wrecked date night as the couple decided to go out for a fun time in the town.
But, while putting their romantic plans in the fast lane, Nick and Vanessa wound up in a scary rear end car accident.
The 98 Degrees alum and his love were riding in an Uber when they got into a car accident. Nick Instagrammed the damage, which shows a white car's hood bashed in after running into the front car's trunk.
"A word of advice.....always wear your seatbelt when you @uber There is no such thing as a guaranteed safe ride. #datenight," Nick captioned the pic, taken Saturday night.
Fans were obviously worried from this scary wreck and have been concerned that Nick or Vanessa may have suffered injuries.
He confirmed that they were both okay on Twitter after the little Uber accident. But reminded everyone to always buckle up.
While it's great that Nick and Vanessa are okay, it's a bummer that their date night was a literal car crash.
Hopefully, they'll soon find a sitter for their children, Camden John and Brooklyn Elisabeth, and get another chance for a romantic date.
Fortunately, Vanessa has a great partner to help her get through life's tough moments. She said that Nick couldn't be a better husband, especially since their family has started to grow.
Nick was okay from his car wreck, but he didn't feel so great about his ex's odd trainwreck on HSN.
Jessica Simpson appeared on the Home Shopping Network on September 17, to promote her new denim line.
She acted odd during the segment and some friends thought she was drunk. Nick was embarrassed for Jessica. Nick was glad he is not in that chaotic mess of a relationship anymore.
