A new Netflix series entitled "Jessica Jones" is about to be seen by TV fans and upon the network's latest trailer released, viewers now know who is going to play the part and what exactly is her super powers. Inquisitr published a report confirming that actress Krysten Ritter landed the gig and her character happens to be a part of the world of Marvel Comics.
Jessica Jones will act as a miniseries that is linked to a group of superheroes labeled as The Defenders.
The trailer, which is titled "Evening Stroll," featured some scenes in the city of Hell's Kitchen in New York City while Jessica Jones was seen strolling. Yahoo News said Ritter will play a private investigator who is working at an agency named Alias Investigations. She was then seen jumping off the fifth floor of the office building where she works when she could've just walked through the stairs. Something about that hints her special ability.
Past trailers of this new series showed Jessica Jones' exceptional skills in doing whiskey shots and her physical strength when she was seen destroying her alarm clock while practicing her fighting skills. She looks like quite an Amazon girl only living in a big city like New York.
C-NET noticed that this new trailer featured some symbolism about how Jessica Jones got her powers. It was more on keeping the audience intrigued than giving them details about the character's identity. The teaser video also started with the song "Thousand Eyes" by Of Monster and Men. It would appear that she acquired her super powers over a car accident that she was in with her dad. The crash happened between their car and a military car that spilled some experimental liquid during the collision. Her parents died and she was left as an orphan.
