In December, American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, will soon wrap up her sold-out "1989" world tour, and the 'Shake It Off' singer is not in a hurry to follow up the blockbuster concert series - as the Pennsylvania raised singer plans to be away from the spotlight for a while.
The 25 year old said in an interview, "I think I should take some time off." Taylor Swift added, "I think people might need a break from me. I'm going to ... I don't know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know."
Taylor Swift already confirmed that she won't spend the time trying to compete with 1989's massive success. And when the 'Bad Blood' singer was asked if making a follow-up terrifies her, Taylor Swift responded, "Nooooooo. How could the next one be as big? Maybe my next album will be connected to somewhere else. Or maybe I'll just go ahead and change everything."
The 'Blank Space' hitmaker has been on top of the world, and the singer credited it to her album and equally epic world tour, which continues through out December. But Taylor Swift admitted that her high-profile life has its downsides.
She stated, "I'm in the news every single day for a number of different reasons," the singer also said, "And it can feel, at times, if you let your nervousness get the best out of you, like a lot of people are waiting for you to really mess up - and then you'll be done."
However, Taylor Swift became soft hearted in the interview when her mother (recently diagnosed with cancer) was the subject matter of the conversation, Swift said, "A lot of the time I need to call my mother and talk to her for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and all the things that matter," and added, "If you do something that clarifies your personality to be not what the public thought you were, that's the enormous risk."
