Things aren't going so well for Liv (Rose McIver), who has now found a new roommate (Leanne Lapp) who is actually working for Max Rager. But that doesn't mean Major (Robert Buckley) won't come to the rescue. Although he manages to keep Liv out of trouble, he also finds himself being blackmailed by Max Rager into killing off all the zombies in Seattle.

But will Major try and find all the zombies? 'iZombie' executive producer Rob Thomas told TVLine it will be difficult, but Major will persevere.

"That is his big mission: to keep himself and Liv alive," Thomas revealed. "In order to do that, he has to take out these zombies. It's going to be a moral crisis for him. ... It will be tearing him apart, and it doesn't get any easier for him for a long time."

That doesn't mean that Major isn't going to fight back. According to Rob Thomas, Liv's ex is "not just going to sit back and take it all season. At some point, he's got to figure out how to turn the tables on Max Rager."

Major might use his new superpower for his mission: thanks to the zombie cure, he is now able to sense if someone is undead. But does the cure have other side effects? Did it completely cure Major and Blaine? Rob Thomas says if you need answers, keep an eye on the lab rat.

"We've got a whole 'Flowers for Algernon' story playing here," he said. "We've got the one zombie rat, New Hope, who will be the canary in the coal mine for both Major and Blaine. Once stuff starts happening to that rat, you have to figure that it will eventually happen to [them], as well."

'Zombie Bro,' the second episode of 'iZombie' Season Two will air on The CW on October 13.
