Justin Bieber Slams One Direction For Same Day Album Release

There seems to be real competition going on between Justin Bieber and One Direction, who are both hitting the latest rankings on the music charts.

Following the news that Bieber and One Direction would have to go head-to-head for the release of their albums on the same day on November 13, Friday, the 21-year old Canadian superstar has been throwing shade against the four-piece band as he sees that the group is really trying to steal his spotlight.

In a Snapchat video post, Bieber said "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber."

After Bieber's Snapchat post which quickly circulated on social media, 1D's Louis Tomlinson responded with a recorded video, with him saying "That face you pull when you're playing the last night at the O2."

Bieber showed his dismay against One Direction after the band announced the release date of their album titled "Made In The 'A.M'", just a few weeks apart from the day he announced the official release date of his upcoming fourth studio album "Purpose".

While this deal might not be something that big for the band, they couldn't blame JB for his reaction because his new album happens to be his first big project since his big comeback to the spotlight.

Though Bieber called it a 'friendly competition', his reaction appears to be more than that.

"I think it was a strategy on their part because my release date was first." He said. "[They're] not really going on the road much, but we're talking about them now, so it gives them the same promo, right?"

As the seemingly ongoing feud between Bieber and 1D remains at the top of the newsfeed, the 'What Do You Mean?' hit-maker is going a little relaxed about the issue.

During his interview with an Australian radio station, he said "It doesn't bother me. No. I'm excited. Honestly, Niall is one of my good friends and I look forward to listening to their album, too. I think it's gonna be awesome."
