Kate Winslet may be one of the stars of Steve Jobs, but she's not rushing out anytime soon to buy iPhones for her kids.
The Oscar winner says that It's a little scary and can become an addiction.
Winslet isn't blind to the fact that computers are part of her children's daily lives. The oldest is 14-years-old daughter Mia followed by son Joe, who is 11-years-old and the youngest at 22-months-old is her son Bear.
The actress admitted that at the end of the day, it is a part of how we live, Certainly, these days in terms of education she thinks there is so much to be done on computers she had to sort of relent and accept that.
Children's knowledge on computers is definitely essential to daily living but Winslet added, "I think we have to always be a little careful because they still have to live a life and they still have to climb trees and break their knees and get muddy. That's important."
She strode down the red carpet at the New York Film Festival for the biopic Steve Jobs in which she plays Joanna Hoffman, a colleague of the Apple computing founder.
Kate wowed the crowd on Saturday with a plunging neckline, combed back hair and bright red lipstick.
Michael Fassbender stars in the title role. Directed by Danny Boyle, the film's cast also includes Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels.
Kate Winslet was turning 40 on October 5. And she wants to have a pressure cooker because the actress want to start making bone broth.
"Taking a whole bunch of bones and putting them in a pressure cooker with lots of chopped up leeks and onions and celery and all that stuff and you make this amazing restorative bone broth," she said. "You boil it up for like 12 hours and it cures you of all ailments."
