Perrie Edwards Boyfriend 2015: Singer Snuggles With Model For a Kiss Following Zayn Malik Split [PHOTOS]

Perrie Edwards seemed to have moved on from her split with Zayn Malik. The Little Mix singer has been enjoying her time with friends lately after the former One Direction member called off their engagement in August.

Recently, Edwards had fans wondering if she’s moved on with another guy too after she was seen getting comfortable with model Michael Mather.

Michael Mather, the guy on the receiving end of Perrie’s kiss, shared the photo on his personal Instagram.

In the snap, the pair is seen seated close together as they pucker their lips while facing each another. With eyes closed, Mather kisses Edwards’ chin in the picture. Mather didn’t caption the photo, but it has since intrigued fans who suspect that he and Edwards are an item.

Although it may seem like the start of a romantic relationship between Michael and Perrie, it isn’t.

While Mather and Edwards may look good and adorable together, fans shouldn’t keep their hopes up for them becoming a couple. Mather is believed to be gay, and he also hinted of his homosexuality in a Twitter post in September.

Even though it’s just a platonic relationship, fans of Perrie can be assured that the singer is over her ex.

“Perrie isn’t wasting any more tears on this guy. Plus, she thinks he’s just trying to make her jealous because he knows she has moved on,” an insider told HollywoodLife exclusively.

“It’s just an attention-seeking, desperate, heartless ploy. The photo just confirms everything she already thinks about Zayn. ‘Heartless’ is the first word that came to Perrie’s mind when she saw it.”

Meanwhile, Edwards is reportedly not yet ready for another relationship. The singer told Mirror UK that she’s enjoying her single life where she can party with her friends in nightclubs and just have fun.

“I love going out. We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs. I love it," she said.
