It's been eight years since "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the last book about the boy wizard who had to defeat Lord Voldemort, hit book shelves all over the world, but theories about the saga continue to fill the Internet - and J.K. Rowling's Twitter sees the author take answering into her own hands!
These days, J.K. Rowling's Twitter shows the author's wit and keeping up with current times on a daily basis, as she comments on everything from Serena Williams' mad athletic prowess to even grown-up Neville Longbottom actor Matthew Lewis dropping his clothes for photo shoots - and, of course, sometimes Jo even finds the time to debunk some crazy theories.
According to E! Online, the author was feeling in a sharing mood last week, when fans continued take their old "Harry Potter" theories to J.K. Rowling's Twitter, hoping she'd see their questions - which of course she did and even chose to answer.
As First Post reports, to clear the air on J.K. Rowling's Twitter, the 50 year-old British author (who is richer than the actual Queen of England) began answering fan questions about very odd theories, such as whether Ron Weasley (Harry's redhead best friend, played in the films by Rupert Grint) was in fact a time-traveling version of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbleore (Richard Harris and Michael Gambon in the movies), which was obviously not true.
According to Refinery29, other theories debunked through J.K. Rowling's Twitter included the fact that Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) is not a werewolf, however unpleasant he may be, and that Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) isn't a vampire, either - and, by the way, that the Potions teacher (who later taught Defense Against the Dark Arts and became Hogwarts headmaster) smelled of "bitterness and shoes," according to the author.
These days filming is underway for Rowling's next project in the Wizarding World, as Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander in the 2016 film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
